A slight difference of battery between the left and right bud is normal. Usually a difference of 5% is considered normal, however, rarely I have also seen a difference of up to 9% between the buds. Obviously, this is with both the buds being used simultaneously. If only one is used, then there will be an obvious difference.

There is some manufacturing defect I suppose.. I am facing somewhat the same problem but even worse, my right side buds are getting discharge from 100% to 0% within 20mins..I have been to service center for the same issue and now they are saying it will be replaced when we get the product in stock... It was an unexpected experience of one plus, just a month old buds and such a pathetic experience..

Got my OP Buds Z on 16/11/2020.
Battery drain issue started the next days...

Started out with 100 % in both the battery after 20 minutes on call, right earbuds had 81% left and left earbud had 91%..

While on call battery in both the buds drains wildly. Battery life is subpar. idk whether this issue is limited to mine or not. should I get it checked in service center ?

In one full charge, I'm getting approx 1 hour 45 minutes call and music of approx 1 hour 30 minutes. overall 3.5 hours usage...

5-10 percent is a reasonable difference between the two earpieces, as it is dependent on the sound being played as well. In stereo mode, the two earpieces play different sounds to give the stereo effect, and different sounds affect the battery differently. Also, it is also dependent on which earpiece connects as the master and which connects as the slave. The master will drain a little extra battery as compared to the slave. Nothing faulty here.
