Oneplus Buds Z2 compatibility Issue with Nord 2 Jan 25, 2022 via OnePlus Nord 2

    I've been using the OnePlus Nord 2 since it's launch and it was working great up until this point.
    I bought the new OnePlus Buds Z2 to go with the device but apparently there's no option for the settings of the buds and the heymelody app isn't compatible with OnePlus devices.
    The same issue was found out in the review of someone on amazon.
    UPDATE: THE ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED

    I have updated the one Plus earbuds after seeing this post and it resolved the issue, now i am able to access earbuds features in one plus nord 2

    It seems to be the specific issue with buds z2 and nord 2.
    Other buds works fine.

    Update the oneplus buds app from playstore and it should work

    It'll show that when you put the buds in the case and open the lid of the case.

    just tried this again did not work for me.
    lid was open for 30sec with buds and without buds.
    still did not it did not show a thing.

    Facing the same issue with my Nord 2 too. I tried connecting the Buds Z2 with aa Samsung phone and updated it's firmware too and still doesn't show the audio options under Bluetooth settings on my Nord 2.

    Hey, search for OnePlus Buds in the Playstore and update it. After that when you go to settings→ Bluetooth and press the gear next to the OnePlus Buds tile, a page will open with the buds battery on top. over there, after updating you'll see a new setting tile of sorts. click that

    Done that brother..
    Not once but multiple times.
    It simply does not show battery percentage of case.

    Uninstall updates and redownload?
    Clear cache?
    Forget earbuds and repair?
    Try it with another phone and check if it's working
    Just some alternatives you can try

    So I just uninstalled and installed again.
    Does not work again.

    Tomorrow I will try same on other device to cross check.
