I just purchased the bullets wireless and noticed that there is a white LED that keep flickering even after the earphones are connected to the phone. It flickers quickly twice, every 4-5 seconds or so, and gets quite distracting, especially in dark. Any advice? Thanks

I have the same issue when watching videos in the dark, it's really annoying. It would be great if it could be altered with an app or just in the Oneplus earphone mode settings.

I ended up just wrapping some electrical tape around the led. It's not the most elegant solution, but it works.

Why is this a feature, OnePlus? It's so distracting in the dark, I can't fathom why they would be designed this way. Time to break out the electrical tape ffs.

I just received my new Bullets Wireless V2 today. Already the white flashing light when connected is really annoying me when using the earphones in a dark room.

I contacted OnePlus Support to ask if there was any way to stop it and the short answer was no.

"Unfortunately it cannot be stopped. It is to indicate that it is been connected to your device."

I then asked if there was any way a future software update could provide the option to stop the flashing and was asked by OnePlus Support to post in the forums so that "the concerned team can check the issue".

After spending €99 on a pair of headphones I'm disappointed but feel that the issue could be easily be resolved with a small software update.

For the bullet engineering team, here is the equivalent issue in another product dependat on sound instead of light,

Seriously though, why is this so common in electronic products? Just stop plz.

This needs to be fixed. Had bullet v2 less than five hours and just discovered this completely pointless, highly annoying feature.

Bullets wireless 2 owner here. It's annoying the heck out of me right now!!! Otherwise a great pair earphones but this thing is completely unnecessary. I wonder which genius thought that people needed to be reminded every 5 seconds that their headphones are still connected. I've put a support ticket out for this useless "feature". Hope they listen to their customers.

Bullets Wireless V2 user from Australia here. I find this flashing LED very disturbing at night and desperately want this fixed. I could not recommend this product to anyone until it is fixed.

I will be returning these ASAP. Using them in the dark is obnoxious with a bright, white, blinking LED every few seconds. Covering it up is not a proper solution as it doubles as the charging indicator.

This should at the very least be a toggle option. I have no idea why it's necessary to be reminded that your earbuds are connected every 5 seconds.
