Same issue here. Got new wireless z today. There was no quick pair option with my OP7. I could also also see videos on quick pair. I guess my Wireless Z doesn't considers my OnePlus 7 as a OnePlus device.[e]1f602[/e]
I also tried these in my friend's OnePlus 7T. Same issues in 7T also.

Kid, you want to pay penny and expect all these. Go for Sony or for some other premium brands.

OP would have posted if it had aptx or ldac...OP didn't post it because it didn't have it, actually these are very basic Bluetooth earphones given the price (1/4 of any ldac enabled earphones)...Posting as low latency doesn't' mean it has got ldac, it is similar to canal earphone manufacturer's who quote it as noise isolation just to confuse people with noise cancellation. The fact is noise isolation is just because of the nature of the earphones and because the earbuds fit tightly in your ear canal whereas noise cancellation is all together a different tech...And btw to allow your earphones to support ldac format, your phone should also have LDAC in the first place. I own one of Xperia XZ and it does have ldac, aptx, noise cancellation (yes it's in the phone, you just have to connect 5 pole connector earphone to experience pure music)

This how how the menu of a phone which can transmit data to an LDAC enabled Bluetooth, would look like. If you take a close look you would see it's disabled coz my headphones are not LDAC capable. Also you see the Noise cancellation is ON because the headphones that I have plugged in are noise cancellation too, Sony MDR NC 31em
