so your take on this is that the problem is the user not the phone?

Exactly! Just go outside when the sun is setting or it's dark and take a photo. You'll clearly see that the exposure. I've compared it to my iPhone 7 camera, that phone takes photos with colours much more closer to what we see.

I believe this over exposing also causes objects in the distance such as trees to appear as paintings.

Im with you bro. They need just to fix camera application to make great photo and video on OP5. Instead of working on new camera software update they sends moderators to tell us which whey do they want us to think. OP you can make good camera just work on it. Look how software is on other phones like s8, htc11 and etc... And add more camera features.

Yes i agree with you, one think hearting the night pictures is the lack of OIS but the Pixel doesn't have OIS and look at the pictures of that phone OMG. this camera has a lot of potential. if you got the time please see this video:

I can't see the video, not showing up. Could you link YouTube?

Yes the camera has a great potential, but unfortunetely we won't see a huge change judging by OnePlus's past actions. They've made their money, that's it for them.

The pixel does have amazing low light capabilities but that's made by Google. They're far beyond ahead of OnePlus.

OnePlus should have stuck with OIS, it's the easier and better option.
