So what's it all for? Instead of investing into improving the camera quality, which is in fact not the best on the market, no matter what was scored by dxo, you are wasting resources for some old technology.

I don't see any sense in it, despite fake illusion of safety for shadowed conspirologists. Ip sertification would be a better option.

can you please add air gestures like LG G8 thinq

Do you know that it uses additional sensor for that? Why do you even want such a useless feature to be implemented?

Pop up selfie cam: hacker secured.
    Hidden back cams: hacker secured.
Now find a design that muffles the phone mics and land Edward Snowden's endorsement. [e]1f44d[/e]😆

Same reason you need a pop-up selfie cam. Hackers won't be able to get anything from them.

Sounds like you don't use your device for anything more than paper weight... I use mine to make $ transactions, conduct business, AR, document proprietary customer facilities, etc...
It's a very nice precautionary measure, not previously available.

OPPO have acquired the tech so OP didn't spend any money, other than on the mock up OPPO/ Vivo device that will appear soon.
But you are right the time would have been better served developing a camera system they can stick with and work on over the next 2-3 years.
You don't see Samsung, Apple, Huawei or Google chopping and changing every year. The main sensor is pretty much the same and that allows them to refine what they are doing.
This year will see the first change on a Galaxy class main sensor ( MP count ) after 4 generations.

The also rans ( OP, Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo etc ) are too concerned with gimmicky firsts and hype in an attempt grab headlines.
