There is actually a red version of the OnePlus 7, but you have to order it from China or India. I have that one. It is beautiful indeed.

You know, I think design and user experience are really important because that is what differenciates phones at all. If you only look at the spec sheets, there are very few options. Don't get me wrong, I know that specs are important, I choose my OnePlus 7 because of its specs, but the user experience is really important too, and don't tell me you don't like a beautiful phone over another one if they have the same spec sheet.

Whish it was available worldwide I don't understand exclusivity for some countries only.

Went through the design for a long, long time.

This time, I really think OP has messed up with the design. The circular panel looks a lot like motorola, but motorola phones, with huge bezels and polycarbonate backs felt okay-ish with it. OP7T on the other hand, still feels soft and subtle in nebula blue variant, but the circular panel looks huge, and by that, I mean huge.

The circle seems unnecessarily large, and simply does not go with the light and elegant colour pallette of OP7T. Definitely, it's a complete personal opinion, and on receiving the phone in hand the opinion can surely change. Other users might disagree as per self preference also, and it's perfectly alright to do so. It's just not my cup of tea.

Adding as a small note: Who from the design team thought of a circular "black' camera bump on a 'blue' back panel? I seriously doubt the choice of colours here. A galaxy note 9 type of design would feel way much better than this IMHO.

Camera design looks like Motorola camera design. The camera design is not cool. You should have gone for the previous vertical design used in Oneplus7 and 7 Pro.

OnePlus is going to get the options their parent company offers them .
Is this your first rodeo here?

I know that design is one of the key phone features but for me more important are functionality, ergonomics and reliability.
It's completely indifferent to me if the phone resembles more or less another one, as long as this does not create some legal problems. With so many brands and models on the market the uniqueness is quite illusory.

Leaks are made by the brands it self to create spectation and make people anxious to get hands on product and to receive feedback about design on time to make pertinent changes.
This time the "leak" is made official by brand even before release, a good move by OP.
It's all a question of marketing strategy.

In my opinion I don't like this triplet on circle camera's approach, worse just only the new iPhones and the Google's pixel with that really ugly square vision...
But design isn't all, and in the end we all wear a cover that will mask unwanted design flaws.

That's only my opinion, and worth what its worth!

Had Oneplus 7 only 2 months, that's progress I suppose, but in the real world in my case there will be very little difference.

Still some are going to say/are saying...

    Exactly...

I personally don't like the new design...
    It looks awkward....
But the orientation of the Cameras is definitely better than the 7Pro... ;)

    On the other hand...
How many times do I look at the backside of my phone...?
Design wise there's not really much new to get out of a smartphone....
Maybe "Form Follows Function" should be the way to go.... ;)

That's a vague comment. OnePlus is one of the best smartphone company. Don't criticize a country
