ryhold , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Jun 4, 2021 : Hiya! I've just seen that the OnePlus gallery app rating has dropped to 2.8 stars in the Google Play Store. OnePlus has become the laughing stock of the Android world it seems; at least for people who dare taking photos or screenshots that is. Some might argue that one can choose another gallery app without realising how deep that mess of a gallery app is embedded in the operating system. Resizing a screenshot and saving it shouldn't be that slow, should it? It takes five to ten seconds for photos or screenshots to show up upon opening the gallery app no matter how often one deletes the Gallery or OnePlus Media Storage cache The Play Store is full of reviews stating that OnePlus cannot be trusted and therefore their phones purchased or recommended. What sense does it make to create phones with flagship specs, to raise prices every year but to deliver rubbish software? I have sent emails to the OnePlus gallery app team without receiving any reply, I have sent in reports through the community app, and I have tried to contact staff. OnePlus doesn't care. It is beyond cynicism that OnePlus claims their gallery app is 'fast and minimalistic' and that loading and responsiveness issues were fixed with the latest update. Shame on OnePlus. Shame on us for trusting them. Shame on any fool who buys OnePlus in the future.
