Hey friends, I'm an 18 y/o student from Mumbai and the next week for me is free, should i consider going to Delhi for the event? I'll book for a train and reach.
I just want to know if it will be worth it because traveling and the ticket itself will be around ₹3600 for me. (I actually really want to go, also the bullets wireless 2 is included which i think is alone worth ₹5990 + I'll come back from there in a flight which will be again a first time experience for me)

    Hey fellow community member,
I am from Delhi and attended the last year's OnePlus 6T launch event. It was a good experience overall with a couple of friends (the extra goodies like Bullets Wireless and Explorer Backpack obviously sweetened the deal for me).
Looking at it cost-wise, it will actually not make any sense but if you add in the value of the experience, then you should visit definitely if you can.
I wholeheartedly invite you to Dil walo ki Dilli.

It's obvious you'll spend more than what you'll get in return. The experience will be memorable and maybe troublesome too but if you're ready to spend more, it's upto you.

But in Mumbai as well, an event is held in a month or later if I remember correctly. Fellow mumbaikars, correct me where I'm wrong. Or wait for the op8 launch that will be in Mumbai.
( t variants gets launched in Delhi)

They launched the OnePlus 7 series in Bangaluru.
I was actually hoping that they'll go to Mumbai this time but it was a pleasant surprise.

@Joel Jacob Can you please clarify if the attendees will receive the ₹999 voucher against the invite price like the OnePlus 6T launch event last year?

    Hey @Carl ,
I was a Lover, fan, enthusiast of OnePlus since the day OnePlus One launched. When the OnePlus 2 launched in 2015 I had given my 10th grade exam and got good marks. I demanded a Oneplus 2 pho e from my Parents. That time there was the Invite system and luckily I got the invite. But my parents didn't knew about the invite system and they told me to book the phone on the 5th day.
Now fast forward to 2019 my parents surprised me with a gift and that was OnePlus 7 because the old phone I was using using was not a OnePlus device and it got wet in the rain and the phone was damaged.

Now for the question part "How would you describe the so not so "Smooth" transition from being a small company to the best premium smartphone makers in India?"

I wanted to buy 7pro. But, OP always has second launch during Diwali times. So, I waited for 3-4months extra so that I can take a look at 7 Pro vs 7T/7T Pro and decide.
One of my friend did not want to wait (I had warned him about second launch). So, he got 7 Pro last month.

It is like watching match in the stadium vs live on TV.

I am from Mumbai and I am going to catch up the event online. I don't think it is worth spending that much money. However, it is just my opinion.
Probably, save that money and buy more OP goodies or probably higher configuration phone!

Well my entire trip wouldn't be more than ₹4k, and if I'm getting the bullets wireless 2 which is ₹6k so it is actually not a bad one + the experience

    very disappointed ☹️

This even you're giving Bluetooth wireless 2 earphones, but the last one, i.e, 7 series event at Bangalore, it was just type-c bullets, not even wireless 1 bullets...

    seriously sad [e]1f622[/e]
