wtf ,,,y all smartphones just follow apple,,,i think thats y apple doesn't need to promote its products,,bcs other brands make it so popular,,,apple brought face id , other companies including oneplus follow it,,apple brought notch oneplus follow it,,apple removed 3.5 mm jack OnePlus gonna follow it,,,thnx to Samsung who is really competing n not following apple blindly like oneplus,,,i admire oneplus a alot but this notch n removal of jack i hate n also oneplus please remove ur flagship killer tag cos its no more flagship killer,,,u r just another smartphone out there in market,,, nothing new innovation,,,

If you going rant about them removing the jack at least get your facts straight.

The notch and face ID/ Face unlock were both on Android phones before Apple had them. Even dual cams on the back was also on an Android phone before Apple. So who's following who.

Honestly it isn't that big of a deal. I have a 5t with a headphone jack but I have never used it since Bluetooth headphones are the way to go now. Most other companies have dropped it so your only alternative is Samsung. Also it may make them able to give better top features from the money they save, allowing the phone to stay cheaper.

I don't know if someone already pointed it out, but the R17 PRO DOES NOT HAVE A HEADPHONE JACK. Please check your facts at least before making a thread.
It's ridiculous that you make a thread using wrong facts to make your point.

Edit - Here are the pics of the top and bottom of it.

Yes, we can do that...but what i mean is, it is all about convenience....look, it isn't easy to carry such a tiny thing wherever u go..and if u lose it, u shud either go out and get one, or buy other type c headphones..moreover, it becomes frustrating to keep such a small thing carefully.....i want to say that, the convenience won't be there..we use smartphones for nothing but convenience so that we can do basic stuff like social networking and all that on the go, without requirement of carrying a laptop wherever we go...and i think still not many use wireless headphones, and even i don't..... the problem is not whether it is FREE or not....i think u got what i wanted to say....

If you are going to carry around headphones to listen to music on your cell, then it is easy and convenient to carry around an adapter as you can leave it plugged into your headphones when not in use.

There's also adapters to connect to your headphones and to your charger.
