You are correct , Oneplus listens MKBHD and
As it should be. He plays with a Frisbee!!! That's credentials right there.
Nice to see you with OnePlus MK, we sure are fanboys which Carl always wanted. OnePlus always kick asses.
Okay, Agreed. We customers have made them..and they don't care anymore..what now??
Why so much arrogance..like you alone have made them..a Godfather??
The jack is getting less important as time passes. Just look at how quickly the wireless bullits are sold out.
Personally it isn't a deal breaker anyone.
I think I'll leave mine as is unless I start noticing the lag now lol
Just for the record Tesla's don't have a headphone jack either.
Yeah, @Carl hates Apple.
I hope will be ip68 from now , it's 2018 hope all phones from now to be ip68 , about the jack it's sad , very sad
while I'm neither with nor against headphone jack i understand that it takes some space rhat they might need and they said that they're including a usb c to headphone jack in the box so this shouldn't be a big deal
from one plus 3 to 6T is alot of time and if there's anyone to blame it's apple and Google
given that most (I know not all) users out their stream/download poor bitrate music (and also listen to it on crappy $5 headphones), it is not an issue for a huge chunk of the market. in theory, just like with the poll, those who passionately want headphone jack are vocal, those who aren't bothered either way aren't (and don't bother voting in polls).
music on my phone is about convenience. I have a dedicated portable player with quality dac/amp if I want quality on the move.
You beat me to a frisbee joke. Damn you.
This post makes me so happy in so many ways...
Indians doing what they do best moaning let's hope they walk as they threaten but I doubt it..
Old tech get over it, would think the prospect of a bigger battery would please the above as they seem to constantly moan about it oh and battery backup whatever that is...
To be honest what I'd like to see is a Y-cable design. One that allows you to charge the device and listen to music at once. I'd want to be able to play my music or anything else and still be able to charge the device. If I have that piece of functionality I could throw the headphone jack in the trash can
That's just marketing speak. Looks like you drank the Kool Aid and actually believed whatever they said. In reality, it's just a clever ploy to get you emotionally invested so that you start acting like brainless sheep.
Like someone else said, a year or so ago, a headphone jack was probably a big deal. It's not any more. Keep up with the times.
In Zaphod´s words...
“You guys are so unhip it’s a wonder your bums don’t fall off.”
Happy I got a OnePlus 6 as I don't want a dongle. I like and use the 3.5 mm Jack.
a while ago I wrote my first post saying how great it was that One plus was unlike the other big brands . they listen to there fans and deliver an amazing phone , infact I believe the best phone money can buy. I wrote in my post that I really hope that OnePlus doesn't loose it's way and become a sheep and follow the others . OnePlus gave us a phone that was a fantastic price and yet still better than the so called top brands and I have lost count how many times I have bragged about my OP5 because of this reason.
However , now it seems that maybe you guys have lost your way, you have now on the verge of becoming like the others and are closing the gap where now your fans are in a position where they have a clear choice of all the major big brands because your no longer different. your prices is what I'm mainly talking about. in regards to the 3.5 , for my personal opinion I would rather have it but it's the pricing that is I believe the biggest draw card for consumer's. it's was unbelievable to have a phone that was better than the iPhones and all the others for little more than half the price... truly amazing but not anymore.. I am still a devoted OnePlus fan but for my next phone looks like I will have a choice from four others...
They are not. BT is extremely unreliable. It never works as seamlessly as cord. It also draws more power from battery. Plus, earphones have to be charged. Progress is supposed to make things easier; wireless earphones make things more complicated.
