OnePlus journey via OnePlus 7 Pro Nebula Blue

    After OnePlus success, I strongly feel OnePlus is following Apple and Samsung marketing strategy with different phone series different specification different colour which was not the OnePlus strategy.

    OnePlus always has been a flagship killer and that was the selling point and that's what people across the globe loved about OnePlus.

    OnePlus used to have one model and every OnePlus owner used to feel connected as everyone knew whats beneath.

    Now, they have launched new series Nord which is the second best and labelled as budget phone. OnePlus always was a budget phone giving all the highend specification at affordable prices.

    Now there are addon like TV and earbud which too has not match the OnePlus standard. OnePlus lost the battle competing with other brand and lost its focus.

    Return back with one model one specifications and live upto the brand name.

    I totally agree with you. Earlier, they used to sell their phones under flagship killer tag but now they are launching a new smartphone named Nord at the same price as Oneplus 3 but under midrange smartphone tag. They are totally going in the different direction from what they started as. Oneplus Nord is a good way to capture the market but atleast put a decent quality of stuff in your smartphone. The new Oneplus Nord has plastic edges with metallic finish which sort of gives a cheap feel in the hand. And still, the camera quality of Nord is not good. They have put 4 cameras in the rear just for attracting consumers. Quality of the macro lens is so bad that the primary camera takes better macro shots than the macro lens.
