In last month or so I have faced this issue 3-4 times, so every time I have to select & put widgets again in shelf. I think oneplus launcher is unstable in this regard.

jonathan.cutting , via OnePlus 6T T-Mobile , Jan 24, 2022 : Same problem here on my 6T. Shelf widgets disappear every day and need to be re-added. Also, resizing widgets create a LOT of empty, unusable space on the shelf. Really annoying. First noticed after upgrade to Android 11.
V1640990492855 , Jan 25, 2022 : I had the same problem on my 7T. My problems were triggered by the beta version of the "digital wellness" app when I use the bedtime feature. The problem goes away once I stop using it. I hope this helps.
