camohan , Dec 5, 2021 : Hi there, all new OnePIus phones have Google messages app as the default sms app. Therefore OnePlus message won't work. If you have any specific description of wonky, please share.

camohan , Dec 5, 2021 : Hi there, yes this is the right one. You already have it installed but you have disabled it. Please enable the app. Also make sure all the apps are updated to the latest version.
