I connect my OnePlus Nord 2 5G to my car stereo using a jack audio and a USB C adapter. I play music on Spotify and when the screen is turned off, the music play normally but when I wake up the screen and when I use the phone, the volume drop drastically down. After I used the phone, I lock the screen again and the volume turn up again automatically, playing normally. Do you know if I have to disable some setting or it is a common issue?

Does this happen with other music apps too?.
If not, spotify is the culprit here...look for settings in spotify.

I have connected my nord 2 via type C connector to my car....i have no sound issues while playing music with Amazon music and Apple music apps.

    Try these steps

    1. Disable absolute volume in developer settings.
    2. If that doesn't work, disable google auto and google assistant while in a car.

Hi, did anyone find a solution to this yet?

I connected my headphones via adapter to my Nord 2 and the volume keeps turning up and down when you lock and unlock your screen. It's terrible.

Didn't try the developer settings stuff yet, I'll edit later.

    Cheers

After changing the setting, restart the phone and then check if it solved the issue or not.

    Okay, it didn't work.

I disabled absolute volume in developer settings, restarted phone and it still does that.

It's kinda like in a car, when you open window the volume goes down. It feels like it's a feature, but it sucks unfortunately.
