some devices have no tint issue when on 60hz. then you can only see the tint when e.g. dragging the status bar. my Nord is set to 60hz too, but this is disappointing.

Few months back samsung's devices were having same tint issue but without denial Samsung accepted that it's issue and the after testing they reach to reason which could solve the mess by a software update and they fixed that but Oneplus is shamelessly denying and neither their updates are capable of fixing this.
By my observation it's a software issue and reason for this is brightness level... When we suddenly drop 70% to 25-40% it's appears badly and animation of process also reflects same. Even at 1% brightness white light pins eyes... At that level that harshness of white light is cravy.

I purchased nord from digital reliance and have this pink tint issue. The return policy of this firm is worst they ask for DO certificate etc. and then went to service center for certificate they told me that it will get fixed after an update. But not fixed yet. I think there is only one option Oneplus have to provide defect free displays to service center so that they can replace it in our phones. Otherwise there is no fix for it.
I'm OnePlus user since from 2013 (era of oneplusone) but they disappointed me two times with this and with Oneplus2 earlier because they steped down android upgrad that time.

Just updated to oxygenos 10.5.8 and I notice these green and pink layers on the screen but not only with low brightness but with any brightness level, it is really annoying problem, I bought the 12/256 version more than 500 euros and it is not acceptable this sort of issue.
I come from Samsung Galaxy note 8 to oneplus fort the first time, and I cannot say this is a good experience.
I think I will return the phone.

    1. After 10.5.8 update somehow the green tint is gone only from whatsapp and YouTube app under any brightness setting. I don't see any colour shift or tint while using YouTube and whatsapp it is completely gone. While on other apps it's still there (chrome). This is so strange.
Even when I am in YouTube or whatsapp if I slide down the notification bar the green tint comes along the notification bar footer (the slightly faded area which starts from the end of notification/quick access bar). said:

    2. There's a certain brightness level ( I think above 40%) if you set your brightness to that then the tint is completely gone.
    3. Also, when I go back to homescreen from those apps which show the tint there's flickering/ tint shifting clearly visible. Whereas going back to homescreen from those apps which don't show the tint for me (Whatsapp and YouTube) doesn't show any such flickering or tint shifting when I go back to homescreen.
I hope OnePlus is still listening to its valuable customers and they will come up with a fix ASAP.
It's a software issue, don't give excuse of display type characteristic.
    Best wishes.
