    Hey
This seems quite comprehensive but I beg to differ.
As per Oneplus, the refresh rate is hardware accelerated that is they have used a capacitor ( included with the thin film transistor used in the Flat panelled AM- OLEDs) and this is causing the decolourisation at low brightness and this more likely in screens with the higher refresh rate. I have known this issue since Oneplus 7T and they haven't come up with any fix yet for that. However, Oneplus can surely try what you suggested but the only problem is the high refresh rate is not unlocked by their software!
It is a hardware issue unfortunately either a replacement or a refund is the only option

checked mine today as well.. there is slight green tint towards the upper and right side and purple towards bottom. so far i had not noticed it. so is this a big issue ? i also read that oled panel seems to have some tinting. if this is a big tinting then i might have to think to return the device.

For me that's too much, but it really depends on your tolerance to the tinting.

It is like my device, you can compare my photo in the first post. I have 3 Oled devices and only the OP Nord has this tint issue. It is too much to be an general oled issue. My device will be replaced. If the second device still have the same issue I will ask a refund

till now i had not noticed it. i just was checking it today in a dark room and i really had to look for it 😀 but in normal use i have no issue with the display . so i am bit confused about it and they have said an OTA update on the way. lets see if this will be fixed for others as well.

    Hey Shubhangi
I got your point, but the suggestion is not mine.
@Arjun Choudhry suggested it to a community user, and I saw the screenshot in a Twitter post

yes. .. i am still thinking about it . as I mentioned i really had to look for it, otherwise there is no issue with display in normal day to day use .do you think this will be a big issue in longer run ? i have emailed the support. let's see what they have to say.
    cheers!
