Shravanplr95 , via OnePlus Nord , Aug 7, 2020 : My new OnePlus Nord is having green Tint issue. Its showing green and pinkish shade on grey background at low brightness. Is there any fix for this issue?
HarshKK14 , via OnePlus 7 , Aug 7, 2020 : Temporary fix is, keep your screen at 60hz instead of 90hz. It will resolve your issue to a great extent. But don't fix it completely
Sasi4395 , via OnePlus Nord , Aug 7, 2020 : How to solve this issue software update or hardware issue!
Sasi4395 , via OnePlus Nord , Aug 7, 2020 : Your device also having the black bar issue in camera cut out what's your manufacturing date.
Shravanplr95 , via OnePlus Nord , Aug 7, 2020 : Don't know bro they are saying that they will fix through software update. But I think what they will do is just limit the brightness level.
wwegleitner , via OnePlus 8 , Aug 7, 2020 : No Software Update in the world will fix a Hardware Problem. Return it and Order a new one. I did that with 3 Oneplus 8s. The third was okay.
TropicalShark , Aug 8, 2020 : I feel this is a software issue rather than display issue. Only some apps show this, default apps and settings or amazon prime or youtube don't show this. There is one more way to reproduce this issue. Assuming you are on dark mode. At night or in low light room / dark place open the default clock app and go to stopwatch section. You will not see and purple or green tint. But now pull the notification shade down. You will see a green distorted tint and pixels on bottom side of the screen. If you close the notification shade the tint it gone. So it clearly seems to be an issue with how OnePlus has implemented dark mode.
Shravanplr95 , via OnePlus Nord , Aug 8, 2020 : Bro there's only issue with gray shade there's no problem with black.Youtube is also having the issue.
W1591603345308 , Aug 8, 2020 : after my update on one plus 6t to oxygen 10.3.5 some blue patches started to appear on the screen is it something got with the update
TropicalShark , via OnePlus Nord , Aug 8, 2020 : Yes the Grey's are having an issue. And a software fix can solve the issue. Also my youtube is not showing this issue. Other apps are. But if you try what I said you will see a green tint at the bottom.
Shravanplr95 , via OnePlus Nord , Aug 8, 2020 : If this is a software issue all the units should have this issue right?.Please correct me if I'm wrong
TropicalShark , via OnePlus Nord , Aug 8, 2020 : I think so. Because OnePlus 8 too had issues and a software fix solved it for them. But we should keep an eye out for any hardware/screen issue. Amazon Return would be easy instead of going to customer care.
qwartz_10 , via OnePlus Nord , Aug 9, 2020 : Even im facing the same thing but rather than that phone is just awesome ( here in this pic on the left is my oneplus 7t for comparison and on right is the OP nord ) as u can see the tinting issue on nord but its not that much visible as its showing in the pic its lil bit more exposed in the pic but still its dere which we can see in grey backgrounds oneplus push an update ASAP
