Had a decade long relationship with Apple , moved to one plus because of the cost effecttiveness and user feedback . But nord has some battery drops which needs to be improved considering the 8gb ram. But overall good for a non gamer and non camera freak 😎

OnePlus go on about chipset limitations. The Snapdragon 690 5G chipset in the N10 5G is quite a new chipset, and feel could probably manage Android 12. This is the OnePlus X all over again.

I've not had those problems. If there, I can't notice them. It works great. My brother has the OP6T, and that phone is as good as the OG Nord. Yes, the Nord had a little problem with battery on stand-by, but the last update (10.5.9, in my case EU) has fixed it. And the camera, I mean, I'm not a heavy camera user at all, but, even thought they might not be technically impressive, they are more than fine for allof what I need.

I know that OnePlus has made itself an enthusiast brand, but they have to move on if they want to survive on this ever more competitive market, and, even though we might not like the Nord N series, it's their way to go on. It's better explained in a Video by tech YouTuber "TechAltar": "Why Enthusiast Brands will Betray You". I'm not saying that OnePlus is going to "betray" us, but us enthusiast are a very small, very demanding and low-profit segment of the market, and, if we want them making phones like what they made 3 years ago, we should let them expand.

And we must admit: the average phone user doesn't really care about software optimization, hyper-optimized cameras or things like that. They want a phone that works, has the apps they need and that looks kind of flashy, which is what the Nord N series is.

    Oof, such text, x_D

This goes with no ill will. Have a nice {insert time of reading here}. :D

Frankly speaking, using a Nord, I don't call myself an enthusiast. Presently, the Nord lineup is just great value smartphones, Ata price less than 30k, one would struggle to complain about the Nord, It's just the 2nd best in every aspect (MKBHD reference). So Nord is not really for enthusiasts, it's for those who expect a great value-for-money device. Enthusiasts would probably straight go and buy the latest and greatest OP fiagship. Maybe I shouldn't be expecting that much perfection from the OG Nord. Ofcourse to lower the price, brands cut some corners.
But yes, there are software imperfections in the OG Nord, just like there are few things which are so well fine tuned that it feels great Maybe this is the best OP can do at this price, albeit the imperfections.

That's really bad to hear but luckily I don't face any problem not even network or screen tint . I may got lucky 😂. But still OnePlus should work on this properly.
According to me : Nord should be like a mini version of 8 series . That's what I want . Main difference between both is chipset and display quality that's all rest same equal software updates and all .
