Already answered 1000 times !!! Oneplus Nord : 2 years of firmware upgrades and 3 years of security updates (no limitation in number for both).
One single major firmware upgrade is for the low cost serie.

You said you get what you pay for and the N10 5G is the best part of £400. That in 2020 should be more than enough to secure 2 - 3 year of Android updates, especially when you consider OP started out at £219 for the OPO and offered 3 years on the £305 OP3.

I don't know why you persist with off topic comments about other Oems from years past, it 2020 fast approching 2021 and the game has moved on.
    I thought the 2018 G Play was a $200 phone? 🤔

Oneplus killed these two devices from the very start.
In that price point and considering they will get updates after android 11 there are so many valuable competitors.

I just did some lightweight researching based on hype surrounding OP in the rags and YouTube.

Ppl should research before buying. Again, I never said that I like or I agree with that. But, OnePlus is not the only that is doing it, maybe is the only doing it at that price, but I don't know. I think that at that price point there are better options.
I would buy a two years old flagship than this.

Like I said, phones don't cost the same in every place.
I bought a Samsung s4 mini on December 2013 in my country, then in July 2014 I bought the OPO at $359 (with shipping to the US) I paid $70 to ship it to my country and $175 on taxes (50%). It was the same that I paid for the Samsung.
Ohh, and the Samsung was not even the 4g version, because Samsung did not bring it here.

The N10 5G's price is pretty much standardised in the Euro zone and US so there is no getting around what OP are doing. At closer to £400 than £300 and without me checking OP are out there on their own, as far as failing to supply 2 years of Android versions worth of support at that price point, in these times.
Lenovo maybe possibly be another, but I would have to take a look and that could well explain the reduced support on your Moto.

You seem to obsessed with a time OP are taking software support back to.

I'm not obsessed with anything, a person should buy the device that suits their needs, from whatever brand it is, and do a proper research before buying.
I didn't do it when I bought that Samsung in 2013 and I learned the lesson. It was my fault, not Samsung.
I personally would prefer to buy a two years old flagship, like a S9, before buying a mid range device, from OnePlus or any other brand.
But, again, that is my opinion.

    2013😂 Samaung😂😂

How many times have you deleted comments as being Off Topic?

I don't quite understand what your point is with the S4 Mini in comparison to the OPO, the S4 mini had the latest chip of its time that was 2 generations ahead of the OP. It also came with an Amoled screen, something not seen on a OP until 2016.

I think that you are seeing the wrong specs for the s4 mini....
    480p amoled
    sd400
    1+8gb
no 4g (at least the version that was sold here, there was a 4g version)
    Only one mayor update
And the price was $600 here...

Terrible move from Oneplus in my opinion.
One year of updates would be acceptable if these devices were launched with Android 11. It has been available for almost 2 months before devices were released. In this situation they are pretty much dead on arrival.

Minor updates as usual every 2 months on average. But for a future OS there is NO/NEVER Estimated arrival time from OnePlus, just useless speculations.
