    Just got my brand new OnePlus Nord pop up box. it's giving me the following error while trying to link the device.

    Note: This phone has been linked to another account.

    We've identified a bug on Red Cable Club that shows an incorrect message upon linking OnePlus Nord to Red Cable Club. Be rest assured that your Nord device has linked successfully according to our back-end check. You can try re-linking to see if this solves your current issue. The team will continue to check this issue to avoid any further server related problems.

    Thanks for the tag but my issue is yet to be solved too. I did a factory reset today too, seems like I got in the RCC but when I click on Link Device, it shows the same error as above.

    Sorry to say, but I think that the phone might be a used one. I know you would think that it's a brand new phone which was just released. But it is possible that some reviewer or OnePlus personnel might have used this as their device after which it was factory reset and put in these boxes. OnePlus will obviously give 1yr warranty from the date of purchase, unlike PCs where the date of warranty is from when the PC was first started. So customer also won't feel cheated.

    Again, this is just an assumption. This could be a glitch as well. But if it's not a bug or something, then this is the only practical answer I can think of.

    if this is the case then it's a real shame on OnePlus.

    1) Ideally they shouldn't give a used product to a consumer/fan who has been waiting to get their hands on a classy "new" product.

    2) If they are giving a used product they need to put up a disclaimer and give the option to the buyer whether he wants to buy such a product.

    looking forward to a response from the OnePlus team.

    Yup, even I think so. By the way, their services suck at the moment. They are completely messed up with deliveries and services queries. Heard a lot about it's screen tinting, incomplete parcel delivery, RCC login issue and many more

    Hi @mehuljhaveri. Yes this problem is persistent... Even I have faced it. Try out the following steps.

    1) Go to settings and log out from your Red cable club account.
    2) close the settings app and launch it again.
    3) click on the membership page again and scroll down to the bottom and you would see your device as "this nord".
    4) click on "this Nord" and press unlink device.
    5) again close settings app and launch it again.
    6) now log in to your RCC account and link device.

    I hope this solves the problem.

    @Tom B. @Andy Liu. @Casey L. Please look into this issue as such issues should never persist in a newly bought phone.

    I am not able to link my nord phone to my red club account.. It is saying phone is already registered to some other account. How this is posible?. I am also not able to verify the device using IMEI number... It says "Store is overcrowded"

    I tried this but don't see "this nord" anywhere on the membership page. I forced stop the settings app and tried it too.

    Do you have another OnePlus device ?
    If yes then on the other device , log in same RCC account and scroll down to the bottom and check if Nord has been linked or not.

    If it shows linked click and unlink it.

    And then log in same RCC account on Nord and try to link it again.

    It worked for me yesterday. It should work for you too most probably.

    I Buy New Nord And I am going to link a my Nord device with red cable club and I get an error " Your Device is link with another account " This error Show pls help to fix it..
