OnePlus One is being developed for just a part of european countries. I would love to buy one but i can't because i live in Poland where the People are poor and big companies like Samsung are selling their crap with huge prices - 2500 pln for galaxy s5 that's about 834 dollars when People earn about 667 dollars per month. I think that's sick and OnePlus One would solve that problem.

The good thing with EU is that there's no import cost. Just order from the UK :)

The cheapest s5, new from shop is still about 2000 pln while the OPO would be about 1200 pln.

So, according to our State Commitee of statistics, average salary in Ukraine is 293$ (february info, converted to $ using current exchange rate). Top phones in http://rozetka.com.ua/ (our most known internet shop) cost:
    HTC One M8 - 816$
    Samsung Galaxy S5 - 736$
    Sony Xperia Z1 C6902 - 638$
    LG G2 32GB - 552$
    LG Google Nexus 5 - 496$
    Nokia Lumia 1520 - 460$
    :)

We want to be as closer as we can to democracy, freedom & west world despite the charges which it may lead to, :)
But, speaking seriously, as for me, my smartphone is the only one device which I use constantly & frequently (speaking, reading, internet, photo, ...), so it would be not too stupid to buy really cool device for daily use.

Before you do that check what Radio frequencies your operator uses because at the moment they don't look good for Europe, especially the LTE (4G) bands.

For the One Plus One the frequencies are:
    • GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz
    • HSDPA (3G): Bands: 1/2/4/5/8 (In Mhz: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100)
    • LTE (4G): Bands: 1/3/4/7/17/38/40 (In Mhz: LTE 700 / 1700 / 2600 /2300/2100/1800)
I know that 3G should be ok in Europe because it supports 900Mhz which is standard in Europe but check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks#Europe if your operator in Poland supports any of the LTE frequencies that the Oneplus has. If not then no 4G for you.

I live in the UK and I'm on O2 (Telefonica) and I have the same dilemma with the 4G not supported on this phone, hopefully they adjust the frequencies before release.

EDIT: According to Wikipedia's list all operators use band 3 or 38 which are supported by this phone, you should be ok.

I think they said before that one country inside EU would be sufficient due to EU agreements on taxes etc. I'm from Poland as well and I don't think there will be any problems with getting One as they will be 'shipped from the nearest country' (I guess Germany in our case), so no worries bro :)

Play has band 3, so Poland has 4G. Most of big companies have band 3. Luck on our side :p
