I had to MOUNT the usb drive into recovery, which worked like...30% of the time. 70% of the time it wouldn't recognize any file in the usb drive.
I tried flashing my old version (13.1.2) but it stuck the phone as well. Or, it didn't un-stick it at least.
I tried with the 13.1.2 version two more times, and it worked. It switched on!
I backup everything through recovery, and try flashing 14.1 again.
No hope. So, I decide to return to 13.1.2 using my backup. I press restore that file, and guess what, it boots into 14.1!!!
I created a new backup file and hope I have exorcised the daemons off its' chipset. I installed the Google Apps Nano from opengapps.org and I am good to go.
I appreciate all the help from everyone who posts in here! Cheers!

Sorry for the late reply. I meant

    1. In TWRP, mount the phone
    2. Copy the full zip to phone.
    3. Dismount phone
    4. Using TWRP install, flash the file in step 2.
    5. Restart phone.
    6. Leave the phone alone till it finish booting. May take longer (10 s) more than usual.

The warranty on your OPO ran out long ago. It doesn't matter what you do to it now.

How much can be this "may take" ? :)
It's about an hour it shows CYANOGEN mod ready (ready text is glowing) and that's it.
btw it took about 4+ in erasing stage.

UPD: after installing the SuperSu stuff again it boots up

So here is what I have as a result.

After installing SuperSu and hitting reboot TWRP tells me that my device is not rooted and he can root it
If I confirm to root my device I get stuck on Cyanogen Loading
If I deny and do reboot without root, phone goes on but without any root stuff (even superSU is not among the apps)

UDATE: installed Recovery V2.79 Flashable.zip and now I have root!

My phone's stuck in bootloop after flashing SuperSU - it never booted after that step. How can I rectify the issue?

I'm in fastboot mode with my OP3 but all the steps fail. Can't boot my phone to go and edit developer options. Any idea on how to sort this out?

    Bootloader is Open?
Do you have last twrp ?
Do you are running oos or other rom?
And What steps do you take?

because it is on the wrong topic, this procedures are for oneplus 1 not for op3

Out this tool on you Computer and with fastboot try flash recovery and rom

This thread and sub-forum is for OnePlus One. It does not have a fingerprint scanner. Are you sure you did all your homework?

The forum can help you with how but whether you should or not is entirely up to you.
