No, there is a poll started from an OP admin asking which ROM's users will try out on their OPO.

This is the best way to go about unlocking, recovery install and rooting. Toolkits are nice for convenience but this is a great way to actually learn about Android devices.

My guess would be that this does not void the warranty, assuming a employee stickied it. Or its a NWO conspiracy for world domination, moon landing is fake, type of sticky.

    One of those two.

I don't see the (scroll to the bottom of the page>DOWNLOAD FOR OTHER PLATFORMS>SDK Tools Only) option...

Great tutorial @Chromium! Don't know if this is due to the OTA update when I first got the phone but I don't have Enable USB debugging in Developer options, just Android debugging. Worked fine in any case, thanks!

May I ask a noob question? Will all this keep the phone from OTA updates just as it happens with Nexus devices? And if not, when I'll update will I loose root? Thank you! You did a great job.

I got a question and I hope I ask here instead of making a new thread full of people who don't have experience with development.

Is it possible that if I unlock the bootloader to root the device, a future update can possibly brick the device.

I want to know now than later on when I get the device.

EDIT: or what the person said above me.
