hi all. received and installed the latest update 30o thinking i could root it again as the same method i used before.
i used the "fastboot boot recovery.img" method because i didnt want to unlock bootloader. But it seems not working anymore with this OTA.
    does someone found a solution?!

So okay, the OTA unrooted (despite reviews that I read to the contrary) and overwrote my TWRP; very annoyed. But my biggest concern is if it also re-locked my bootloader.

How can I confirm that my bootloader is still unlocked, because that process does a factory reset on the phone and I definitely don't want to go through all that again.

relocking the bootloader will also wipe, so thats how you know. Try reflashing TWRP and it should work

After unlocking, installing recovery and root, is possible to remove root and recovery, re-lock the bootloader and have warranty ?

None of these actions voids your warranty with OnePlus. They only ask that you be careful and not wreckless with your phone when doing these things. ;)

I think this should be a fairly easy question to answer.

I used this guide for my OPO. It worked great. I now have Titanium Backup, and want to use it to delete the stock messaging app. I have Hangouts and use that instead. So delete this messaging app is safe right? It won't affect any other aspect of my ROM?

I asked because I'm at the confirm button, on the verge of doing it, and I have the scary little warning message staring me in the face, though I think I'm okay to do this.

Prior to step 2c, is there a way to pull the current recovery.img on the phone to keep as a backup so you can switch back to the current stock CM recovery if we like? Or is there a better way to do this? I've spent over 30 mins searching around and found some great resources (below for those interested), but can't seem to find the stock recovery for Bacon (i.e. CM for the OPO).
