Can anyone help me. I've followed this guide to root my oneplus one. When i get to the part of "fastboot oem unlock" it just says ok[0.00016s] then its not rebooting so i typed "fastboot reboot" and its not wiping my data as supposed to the fore warning. I'm running cm11.0-XNPH05Q, windows 7 home basic if that is of any help. NEED HELP BADLY :(:(:(

Ok, here's my story. Just rooted my phone, successfully, WITHOUT "push" command. Verified with 2 separate apps (check screenshots)
After I've flashed recovery.img, phone restarted itself into the system (I didn't have to use fastboot reboot command).
I've then rebooted into Recovery and TWRP booted up (Great). Then when I tried to reboot into the system, TWRP prompted that my phone is not properly rooted, because SuperSU wasn't installed and OFFERED to install it for me. I said of course, bro, install it. After installation, phone rebooted and offered me to update SuperSU from Play Store (take note, @flyingdad ). I agreed, it finished updating. Afterwards I've restarted phone for good measure, went to Play Store and installed 2 separate root checkers apps. Both verified successful roots.
I suspect that when I upgrade 1+1 over the air, it will kill the root, so I'll try to do it with TWRP again. If it doesn't work, then I'll use the UpdateSuperSU.zip file.

    Cheers

Go to device manager on your computer while your phone is in fastboot mode and make sure that the device is recognized as an android adb. If it's not, install correct drivers (Samsung adb drivers worked for me). It wouldn't work without correct drivers. My phone actually restarted by itself after "fastboot oem unlock" command

No, it didn't. But, locking/unlocking bootloader will do.

I tried countless of drivers. Installed samsung drivers 1.5 as well. I got to device managers, followed the steps and got to let me pick drivers still my a0001 has a yellow exclamation point. I installed a universal adb driver then the other devices menu where my opo used to be is gone
