The start of the year 2015 we all were blessed with the preview of OnePlus android lollipop alpha build for the "One" and though we are just 10 days into the new year, the year has already started to get better with the advent of the Official CyanogenMod 12 nightly version for your very own "Bacon" device.

I have already downloaded and flashed the CM12 nightly version of the ROM but without the gapps package and here I am uploading a few of the screenshots to give you an basic idea of what Cyanogen has to offer with their new ROM based on lollipop.

    Few Things to Note :

    • The gapps package is not part of this version of the ROM yet and you have to flash it separately.
    • WiFi is working flawlessly.
    • NFC, Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi tethering are all working fine and as they should.
    • You will not be bothered by setup screens in this ROM when the devices is booted for the first time after installation.
    • This ROM is incredibly FAST. very fast.
Feel free to ask me anything about this CM 12 nightly version for the OnePlus One or the One itself. :)

Also If "Double tap to Wake" is your favorite CM feature at the moment, you can vote for it here https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...pictures-and-screenshots.224585/#post-8722797

Edit: Encryption isn't working guys o_O

    Thank You! :)

How's the LTE reception? That's my biggest concern with this Oneplus phone now.

Would love to test it out but unfortunately 4G isn't available with any service provider in Delhi yet. :(

This ROM is incredible. It's ability to out benchmark the mx4 and note 4 truly make it the flagship killer

"Bluetooth is working as it should"
Does that mean that the BT audio streaming issues that are in the current ROM (and filed in Jira) have been addressed?

Hi, Though I am not aware of any BT audio streaming issues if their is any in the current ROM, let me mention that sending and receiving files via bluetooth is a breeze in this ROM and I am also able to stream audio seamlessly to my Sony SBH20 bluetooth stereo headset which I usually pair via NFC.

Let me know if you have more questions. :)

I tried testing it out, and had a few issues re: HSPA+ (had to select the AT&T Broadband network) and encryption was completely foobar'd. It had the classic telltale CM reboot-do-nothing issue.

Rolled back to 11 since this is a deal breaker for corporate email. Still I love me 5.0.X and will keep testing and drooling over it.
