Nope, as long as you’ll remember that password you’ll be fine. Only if you have forgotten it your backup is no longer usable.

Yeah. I did a factory reset and installed the OS again everything was going fine till today.
But again the problem started. I am afraid that problem might be something related to hardware or battery. :(

I had the same issue few weeks ago, I changed the battery and solved this problem...

please follow the link which I gave in my signature.

please go to the service center and replace the battery. they might tell you - motherboard replacement which will cost 13000.00 bt just ask them to change the battery for 1500.00

    thank you!

This is correct. My OPO was running fine until one month back it bootlooped on me. It booted fine when connected to charger so software wasnt an issue. Did my research on XDA and found that it was the battery that died. Checked with service center and they said they would replace the battery for Rs.1800. Checked ebay for batteries and found no OEM batteries exist. However you can get a Chinese one for 1-1.2K. Chose the best rated seller and got the battery. Followed the video on youtube to change the battery and changed it successfully. However the battery life is awful. It can barely last for 4 hours. So I have asked for replacement. Will update once I get a replacement battery. Frankly I dont have high hopes from any OPO battery. I have not yet zeroed on which phone I should buy and my OPO ran smooth except for occasional freezes. So till I decide, OPO will live :)

I wants to recommend Oneplus service center batteries just because Service Centers are reliable source also ensure the warranty if any.

    Thank You!

Same rom (RR 5.8.5), same device, same problem.

After 15 - 20 days of use, my opo goes into bootloop. To use it, the only thing that works is format the data partition. Maybe it's time to leave RR.
