I love the note 3 but I can't wait to get the OPO to have something more unique and awesome.

I own a SGS3 and an iPhone 5. Let me get one thing straight, I'm definitely not here to start a meaningless discussion over what's best, but personally I love Android, absolutely hate iOs.

Steve's miricle device has one plus over the Samsung, and that's the startup speed of the call app.
I know this accounts for the Note as well. Seems like a very small deal, but oldfashioned as I am, I'm using my phones to make a lot of calls and I'm sick and tired of waiting for my Sgs3 to open the call app, or access my contacts.

So, to the lucky O+O owners here, what's up with the accessing speed of your contacts app and how long does it take to open the call app?

Greetings from a nice and sunny Holland!

I am currently a Samsung Note 3 owner and was extremely happy with it because of its multiple functions until yesterday where I put my hand on the 1+1 phone. A friend of mine had it and was amazed by the over all look as a starter then I started my user experience and man I wanted to switch phone of the spot. it is really better on every aspect. its response is just ridiculous. its a note 3 and a lot more. can't wait to get one.

    Brilliant customisation
Excellent price (2-4-1 compare with the note price almost)
    No bloatware
    Customer service questionable
    Root supported
Great build quality (well for those of use without the yellow banding)
    Very quick

    Note 3

Full of shite software (previous owner of the S2, S3, S4, Samsung Tab, Tab3)
    Customisation sucks
    Root void warranty
Customer service is great (2 year warranty vs 1 year)
    Price bloody rip off
    Plastic fisher price looking phone
Had a plastic pen (great for drawing) and that's about it
    Slow performance

I think the Note 3 edges out the OPO in specs. There isn't a major difference between the two with the exception of the camera (Note 3 wins). The Note 3 also has a SD card slot which I like.
The OPO wins hands down when the price is factored in. I think that is the main strength of the OPO. It is a top tier device with a price that can't be beat.

I understand that many people have a problem with Touchwiz. I don't really see that as an issue since like on most android devices you can always install a different rom.

I have one and only one concern for the one. Tmobile USA's LTE support in currently almost 100% band 4. They are now broadcasting in band 12 (desirable low 700mhz) in certain locations and plan to open more as radio stations are bought out. They also plan to share their HSPA band 2 with LTE . Neither phone supports band 12 (have to go to samsung avant, note 4, experia 3, nexus 6 or zte zmax for that), however the note 3's radio does receive band 2 unlike the One. In theory, there should be better LTE coverage on the Note 3, far better (certain areas) Note 4.

I have never feared buying used as I usually go with custom roms anyway. A used note 3 vs. New One Plus One at same price is a tough decision for me. As a professional photographer that uses a wacom regularly, the s-pen is enticing. Does anyone that is running cm11 on the note3 know how well they integrated the stylus? Or is a Note 3 with Cyanogenmod, simply a slightly less powerful One plus One.
