181 to 179.... almost tied. Yet no news from OP but more problems now. Out of stock error after yellow screen. Out of stock because of some Error? I don't think so it's by design to buy themselves time.

Denial can be very misleading. There's no proper fix via software.

Apple had this issue, it was hardware, phones were replaced.

Unless replaced, all indicators are it's defective.

Well put article. I personally share your point of view.

I love the phone design like no others on the market, I liked the idea of a startup, but OnePlus as a company doesn't bring me any confidence in the way they are dealing with stuff, not at all!

Whether they reply or not is not of my concern. It'd be nice to see their input but

I did read the entire thing but just quoted this. To the point and makes sense. I wonder why Oppo would say yeah defect and we'll fix it for you and OP said its not real. Thats odd. I saw that yellowing in youtube videos. hmm

I really don't see why they would do that and it's not the truth just my opinion, which many believe to be the truth.

why are people still confused about this?

they gave two explanations as to why there would be the yellow hue that could be fixed in settings or is only visible at extreme viewing angles. for any other cause they instruct us to send it back for repair or replacement.

    what else do you want?

I wouldn't worry about it. Won't be a problem for most as only 10 people have the OPO. Vaporwear.

You do understand they admitted the bottom yellow band is a hardware issue, so software isn't going to help you. They say that it's only visible at "certain angles" but people are taking pictures like the one above and it's pretty visible from any angle/5 feet away. Then, they say it's photo-shopped.

and you realize that if it is a hardware issue they agreed to repair or replace it.

True, but software one can patch. Hardware, they have to replace, meaning we've got to send it back, OP has to accept it as a defect then issue a replacement. But at this point, they are saying it's a feature. And that you only get one replacement for same issue. Plus they are accusing customers of Photoshop.

At least on software, they say 'known bugs'....
