Ordered the 1+1 on 1/23/2015, received it on 1/28/2015. Confirmed no cyanogen logo.

I've got the sandstone black model and thankfully feels brand new (just need to figure out how to get the build date for my unit)

Edit: build date 11/4/2014. I wonder if my unit was repurposed. Everything seems fine so no biggie that the logo is missing.

My OPO arrived two weeks ago and was produced in November 2014. It's WITHOUT the logo. I'm from Germany, the OPO was shipped from London.

So the new ones have no cyanogen branding anymore but still run cyanogen pre-installed?

Yes. CM is still supporting the phone for 2 years from the date it launched (except in India).

I have no doubt that they removed the CM from the back cover so that this phones can be sold both inside and outside India without having to have two different back covers. That keeps costs down.

Actually, this has already been happening on the UE (might as well go out of America to see what is going on to the world :p).
Due to the conflict with Cyanogen, Oneplus has decided to take out the Cyanogen logo from the back of the 1+1 on the international version (that makes two back covers without the Cyanogen logo).
Besides, if my guess is right and Oneplus is announcing tomorrow their new OS' name (ElementOS), it makes sense that the back cover of the Oneplus One doesn't sport the Cyanogen Mod logo on it as it won't surely ship with it flashed for much longer.

I can confirm the news. I just recieved a global edition of the OPO today and it has the FCC markings etc. but no cyanogenmod logo. I was getting scared I got a chinese version or something, but then I saw this post

You can just order cyanogen branded covers from **********. I ordered it with out cyanogen logo seems only rights. Cause one plus phones are basically like any others now.

Just curios, when CM STOPS supporting the phone, will OnePlus automatically push their ROM or will we have to manually install it?

I'm beginning to think unless you flash it yourself you may not see CM12 on this phone. They are building their on version of Android L for a reason.

They already said this was gonna happen and it has nothing to do with the CM/OP partnership

Sad Day. I like CyanogenMod. I think if the OnePlus Rom ends up being a dud, (which I don't think it will, and hope it wont' be) I could always swap over to cyanogenMod after-market - seeing as that's covered by warrenty... haha

I don't know maybe so but this much is evident at this point,if we receive the CM12s it will probably be the last CM rom connected to this company. I'm pretty sure OP2 going have their rom.

It probably will be the last update. Kondik said he didn't know what was after that. As each day goes by, I'm leaning further away from getting the OP2
