This may be a bit redundant, but do you guys think it's worth it to get the open beta for the oneplus 3 and 3t? For anyone using it, how stable is the release? And also, are the features really worth upgrading to now? Personally from what I've heard the changes are quite minor, but let me know what you think.

Oh yeah, join the beat train! Choo choo!

Everything has been really stable, besides some minor problems (obviously since its a beta). If you're up to it, I would say its worth it because of the new launcher, better performance, touch latency optimizations, most recent security patch, and the fact that you get updates more frequently with beta. Go for it!

You don't need to wipe to get the beta build. Download the beta and place it in the root directory and then go to system update, click the cog in the upper right corner and do local update.

Thanks a lot for the advice. Honestly my biggest issue with using the beta is that I fear something will happen to my phone and it'll get stuck on a bootloop or whatever. If there aren't any issues like that then I'll absolutely flash the beta rom

I doubt anything will happen but just for safety sake just make a backup. Flashing via local upgrade is basically like doing an ota update. I did it and it went flawlessly. I did flash back to stable because I encountered a bus with applying a wallpaper. My status bar icons would turn black. Other than that the beta was pretty good.

I think if you can't find the existing Beta threads you might want to reconsider.

despite of knowing them as "beta", they seemed to be more stable and useful than the offical OS [e]1f60a[/e]

What makes you think root has anything to do with anything? Its no different than installing stable. You don't need root for that!
