It would be interesting to see what other sensors could be miniaturized to fit in the existing bezel space as well. Or what OP could do if they put 2 or 3 cameras of that size into the bezel, and use the paralax of the multiple cameras to create 3D renderings or better depth assessing for the selfies being taken... Just a thought though....

Nice idea [e]1f4a1[/e] but it also have disadvantages like camera will get dirt because near to the earpiece as well as edge is not safe as prospective of camera.

If you guys solve these issue then it will be great.

    Hope for the best 🤘

Not really the first time the company does it:

I'd assume it's a common practice across the industry. It also goes to show that this piece of news should be taken with a grain of salt. A patent doesn't necessarily mean there's a new product on the horizon. In fact, most of the times it doesn't.

It sure is common practice and a lucrative one, that's also the reason I mentioned this. There is a whole business build on this (I mean just aquiring patents and give them in license or sue when used without consent, patent trolls or hoarders).

And indeed, most patents won't reach production, the majority doesn't even reach development. It's often just used to block competition.

M just worried about the sensor size as the bezels are similar to hair stands nowadays. If the sensor is too small then this is not something that could be useful.
Also i would love to see something like this for consumer devices rather than another concept 🔥🔥

It's cool but I am also questioning the quality of the sensor and the image that it produce. Doesn't matter how they put it, they can not break the physics of image sensor, that the larger the opening, the larger amount of light that it can capture, there for better quality. If they use a small tiny hole for front facing camera, I can expect the quality will go down the drain.
