I love the new phone. love the upgrades and updates over the 6 I had. battery life the larger screen in the fingerprint sensor in the front all make for great additions over the 6.

my only frustration is that I'm operating on 9.0 when the OnePlus variants were just updated to 9.05. I'm sure people who are experiencing their first OnePlus will not notice that they're lagging behind tremendously from the phones that could have gotten directly from OnePlus but as long time owner and supporter of OnePlus it's frustrating that TMobile could screw this up and sit on updates like they are.

Man you made a big mistake getting it from Tmobile.. First off i did too and i openend the sim tray and saw it was only a single sim card tray i took that bs straight back. Dont expect to get fast updates with carriers.. they slow

could not pass up on 300 discount. I had an old Nexus 6 that they gave me $300 for so 288 for a 8 ram and 128gb is too good a deal to pass up. worst case scenario is I turn around and sell the T-Mobile 6t on swappa in purchase One direct from OnePlus.

T-mobile told me after I unlock my 6t, it can be as same as the normal 6t, which means it can recover to dual sim card
Update: just chat with one t-mobile customer service, they told me if I have one dual sim card tray, I can use two t-mobile sim cards even before I unlock it.
Is there anyone who can confirm it?

Same here, gave up my nearly 5 year Nexus 6, couldn't pass up $300. The rep told me that if I were to trade in for something else it is only worth $16. That's crazy, T-Mobile has to certify the software update before pushing it out, it may take some time.

    It sucks!

I normally use my iPhone X's Max , but the screen on time is ridiculous ! changed all the animations to .5 and this thing flies. waiting on unlock token and I'm set. traded my Nexus 6 and paid it off two days later I still get the bill credits so it was worth it

Yeah, but you are kind of in a 2 year contract now to get that $300 back, right? You get a $12.50 monthly credit?

been with TMobile for 6 years and I wouldn't consider AT&T or Verizon for anything so not much worried about a two-year Payback

Yeah I wouldn't consider them either at their prices, but you can save a lot more than $300 in two years by using an MVNO. But that's your thing, kind of off topic.

Okay well thats a good deal then.. As for someone like me that buys all the flagships right away and gets rid of them within 2 months of use... it wouldnt be worth it for me cause my trade in phones would be worth more than 300$. Besides im on JOD for most devices through T mobile.

As far as i can tell.. I been with all the carriers and I found that Tmobile advertises fast speeds and what not but they only good in major cities like LA or San diego. Here where i live in Temecula even though we have a huge population because of the housing boom and casinos T mobile could careless. EVen the corparate tmobile store here where I live the 4g Lte is non exsistent.. then when you get in the store they just put a antenna booster in the store and tell me "Hey look its quick" soon as you step out the store the coverage for lte drops to like 2g speeds. The regional manager of the store just called in for a antenna booster in the store and said thats that.. He could care less about the signal in the area. ATT and Verizon on the other hand works great in almost all the non city areas.. For some reason most cell companies here focus more on the EAST coast then the WEst coast since i Live in cali. So i rather not get stuck with a contract .. especially from Tmobile. The only reason im with them is because of the JOD but seeing that i had to drop $300 down on the iphone xs max.. i might as well just went to att and used the NEXT program that had 99$ down and a higher payment a month since i get rid of phones every couple months anyway.

T-Mobile version is only single sim card, if you open the sim card tray you'll see. If you pay off the phone you can sim unlock and bootloader unlock. But you aren't getting dual SIM, you are stuck with single sim since it's at the hardware level.

If you change your sim card tray to dual sim card tray, you will get it, but I don't have dual one, so I can't try it
