suvendu.thatoi , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Nov 20, 2020 : I have purchased OnePlus Q1 TV from Flipkart in the month of October 2020. However from the first day itself I have been experiencing overheating issue. I have logged a complaint on 4th of November 2020 through OnePlus care app. Since from 6th of Nov. 20 I have been chasing with OnePlus customer care service desk but it is as unfortunate part that they used to give false hope every time. They have not been able to assigned to the technician even though 16 days past. They are also not responding over the mail. Such a poor service I have never ever experienced.
Venky61 , Nov 20, 2020 : Hey, Where exactly are you facing the overheating? If it's the bottom part of the TV, then it's normal as the LED for the TV is placed at the bottom leading to higher temeperatures than the rest of the TV.
suvendu.thatoi , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Nov 20, 2020 : It is bottom part of the TV obviously. There must be some limitations of heat generation. However i have compared with other brand QLED as well where as absolutely no heating issue any part of the TV even after running for more than 8 hrs.
Venky61 , Nov 21, 2020 : Depends on the type of the LEDs used and postioning and the thickness of the TVs at that postion. You can anyway get it checked and verified with the technician. Do share the Service ID with me. Will escalate to the team.

Sorry to hear that your issue is not resolved yet but I am user like you and all I can do is request the team to look into it, which I already did and even reminded today after your update. I agree that the service is poor in many instances. Most areas are covered via 3rd party services and seems like there's long way to go for reducing this gap.

I have logged compliant after a week technician visited and tested and he confirmed but there is no proper response from oneplus team Recently purchased from flipkart on 13th nov2020 Worst experience

bp_pant , Dec 12, 2020 : I am also facing heating issue even after using for half an hour in one plus q1 tv but in my case it is in the center right side of the tv .
