    Hey everyone!

In order to provide our community with best in class software maintenance and upgrade cycle, we are officially announcing OnePlus Software Maintenance Schedule.

As per the maintenance schedule, there will be 2 years of regular software updates from the release date of the phone (release dates of T variants would be considered), including new features, Android versions, Android security patches and bug fixes and an additional year of Android security patch updates every 2 months.

This schedule applies to all OnePlus 3/3T, OnePlus 5/5T, OnePlus 6 devices and will be effective immediately.

    OnePlus 3/3T Software Update Schedule

Update: The open beta build has been delayed, we discovered a last minute issue that needs to fixed before the build can be released, thank you for your patience

We will be publishing the last Open Beta build for OnePlus 3/3T later this week, and at the beginning of July, we will provide a stable version of OnePlus 3/3T for beta testers to migrate back to the stable version of OxygenOS.

Note: In order to ensure stability, it is necessary to clear the data and the cache before flashing back to the stable version, please do backup your important data before flashing.

We would like to thank all our beta testers who have been actively sharing feedback, opinions and reporting bugs and helping us better optimize OxygenOS. With your constant support, we have been adding new features that our community cares about.

As per the OnePlus Software Maintenance Schedule, OnePlus 3 and 3T will be getting regular OTA updates till November of 2018 and 1 year of extended Android security patches. We look forward to bring you more exciting news about Android version updates for OnePlus 3/3T in the coming months, stay tuned.

    Never Settle!

This is huge! This is the single thing I needed to prefer a OnePlus device over a Pixel.

That's true, but here the big news is another year of security updates. For a device launched two years ago (OnePlus 3), that's really cool.

Awesome news, now who needs a pixel device while you have OnePlus and much customisable Oxygen OS.
This news made my day, thanks OnePlus.
