    Hi everyone,

Glad to tell you that your data on iOS devices can now be migrated to OnePlus phones by using the latest OnePlus Switch beta version. Please read the instructions below to figure out how to get it done.

    Upload your data to iCloud

    1. Backup the data from your iOS device by using iCloud.
    2. Go to Settings on the iOS device, log into iCloud with your Apple ID.
    3. Enable sync options of Contacts, Photos and etc based on your need.
Transfer the data to OnePlus devices
After making sure all your valuable data has been uploaded to iCloud, you are ready to migrate the data to your OnePlus phone.
    2.png 3.png
    1. Open OnePlus Switch app.
    2. Choose "I'm a new phone" and then tap on "iPhone".
    3. Sign in to your iCloud account and start importing data.
    4. It's recommended to complete the whole data transfer process while connected to a Wi-Fi network, and OnePlus Switch should always stay on the screen. If you ever get disconnected from the iCloud server, please try logging into iCloud again and pick up with the data transmission. Please note that only certain format of data can be transferred due to compatibility issues.
How to get the latest OnePlus Switch?
You can apply to join the Beta program on Play Store and get the latest software updates.
    1.png 4.png
    1. Open Play Store, search for OnePlus Switch and enter its page.
    2. Find "Join the beta" and tap "Join". A moment later the update will be pushed to you.
    3. Tap "Update" to get the beta version.
If you have any questions and suggestions about the product, please feel free to get back to us by attaching your feedback in this post or via the Community app. We are always in relentless pursuit of better products!

I was expecting with this approach we could transfer the iPhone messages as well. But it seems only Contacts and Photos are transferable. But nevertheless another great feature.

I'm glad you are enjoying your experience. my concern is based on older supported phones being pushed to the back. I have a 5t purchased 20 months ago and a 6 purchased 16 months ago, and both are running 1 Aug security patch. 6 potential will receive Android 10 3 months after the release and 5t will receive 6-9 months after the release of the new OS. with only 4 phones to support, the updates should have happened already. this was the purpose of project Treble. saying that OnePlus is faster than other manufacturers, is nothing to be proud of. this is a case of I got your money so let's move on to making more money. this was the reason I stopped buying Samsung phones.

I understand and completely agree the updates could have been pushed much earlier at least for 6/6T and this is something definitely needs to be looked upon. I hope this genuine feedback is heard by the OP team. Even in my 6T I have been waiting for the update.
