    There's a lot of prejudice about products made in PRC here in Europe.
    How do you feel about that...?

    P.s: Not my opinion. Great products can be produced anywhere in the world... ;D

    If I wanted to visit China and stay out of the big cities, what coastal region with history and interesting sights would you recommend...?
    Preferably off the usual tourist trails...

    • How do you feel about Hollywood randomly squeezing Chinese actors into big movies so that they can attract Chinese investment / audiences? Many times it's really obvious this is what they're doing, instead of letting it happen naturally. Do you laugh, or appreciate the effort?

    • Have you ever tried Western versions of Chinese food? Many of the 'Chinese' restaurants in the rest of the world serve things you probably wouldn't even recognise as Chinese.

    An awesome idea for a thread. Ive got a couple of questions, if you dont mind.

    What options do you have to get away from the technology? Are there well known countryside locations, vacation spots perhaps, which have yet to be fully developed?

    Also, where do most of you do electronics shopping? Other than online, is there a well known street, or something like that where you can buy 3rd party vendor made stuff?


    @dsmonteiro You could also try visiting fast food places like Mcdonalds, etc. I hear they have localised dishes, available exclusively in china. Also, try out the varied flavours of chips, chocolates, snickers, etc if thats your thing.

    Because they have to be organized into new posts, and then Chinese users answer, Chinese users ask questions. Organize it into a new post. Send it to the community, then check it out by overseas users, answer...
