I am confident that there are many things that you can expect from the OnePlus TV. Image and sound quality are fundamental features that we must get right. Alongside these key essentials, I believe the TV’s remarkable design and smart interconnectivity make this product even more exciting.

I hope you get the price just right. Especially when JIO fiber now starts to become available more and more people would want to get their hands on a premium product. Anything more than ₹ 50,000 for 55inch will be a tough sell.

Honest question. Price point seems to be 1000 usd. Why should I pay 1000 usd when I can get 55" 4k Samsung for 600 in any big electronic store (at least in Germany)?

    Dont get me wrong... I love Oneplus. I had Oneplus 1, 3t, 5t and 6...and now 7pro

Because the high end leds cost $1000 usd or more. Depending on name.

Sorry thinking of 65 inch tvs

They already said they're competing with Sony, LG etc. and it's a premium TV so it's not going to be cheap and their QLED TVs generally cost above 1Lakh/100K Indian Rupees so I'm expecting it to be around 70-80K..

Their quote is "We're competing with Sony, LG etc. and it's going to be premium TV so don't expect it to be cheaper like MiTV etc."

It's going to cost over or around $1000USD in India, not less than that. You'll ask why? Here is the answer-

You won't get any 55" 4K LED/LCD TV from Samsung, LG etc. for $600 in India as you get in Germany!! Nah bro.. That privilege is not here because of Custom Duties, Taxes etc.

This is the starting price of cheapest 55" TVs here and you'll get TVs from company like Xiaomi, VU, TCL etc. for this price..

In India, you've to spend $1000 for 55" 4K normal cheapest LCD/LED TVs from LG, Samsung etc. or more for Sony and QLED of same size costs over $1500..

So, even if they'll bring it for $1000 in India, it'll be still $500 cheaper than the competition!!

Please do not make the mistake of not launching the bigger screen in India. There is a dearth for quality 75" TVs here.

Just give a search on Google, you'll find it.. In simple words, Dolby Vision is better than HDR 10.

Was looking for another feature usually found on premium LED LCD TVs. Does this TV use Full Array Local Dimming or is it edge lit?
