Well explained. OnePlus must consider, the above mentioned if they want to better the experience. Incorporation of full array local dimming with much more dimming zones can help reduce the current black level issue with qled. Also, check the dirty screen effect with strict quality check so that there is no panel lottey and is the same panel for all consumers.

The 7 pro needs an serious update
of brightness on screen to 1200 nits
this phone is a perfect piece of cake
    but has display flaws

while watching movie the brightness level on screen is too low that picture get grey black
nothing is visible sometimes in an movie ..

this is a serious flaw oneplus
look at samsung and iphone latest technology phones
    they both offer 1200 nits
    with beautiful crisp display

i think you should consider my request and in next os update do consider this request
    thankyou

I humbly disagree , When was the last time you walked into a Costco or Sams Club to see what they had to offer?

Brightness is something which you can't increase with OS update.. It's a hardware limitation and if you'll increase it then it'll mess up the color accuracy etc.

Even XDA developers tried what is the max, it can output and the last it could go was 900nits so how can it reach to 1200nits.. It's not possible!!

Suppose, if it had 1200nits.. You know 90Hz with QHD resolution already drains so much battery and adding that much brightness, how long the battery will last?

Maybe we can expect more Brightness in next OnePlus phone!!
