    Hey guys,

I bought the OnePlus TV camera which is around 2400/-

Current I am using it on my Q1 Pro

-> Firstly The Build Quality Was Good.

-> If Your Using A Stand Like I Do You Cannot Perfectly Fit The Camera In Middle You Need To Keep It To Right Or Left To The Stand.

-> Coming To The Video Quality
With The Inbuilt Camera App You Can Record And Take Photos.
Though The Camera Is Capable Of Recording 1080p The Inbuilt Camera App Can Only Able To Record At 650p Or Soo..
    -> Coming To Mic
I Would Say It Was Decent In A Quite Room, It Was Able To Detect My Voice Even I Talk Slightly Quiet Than My Regular Voice.
It Was Picking Up The Audio Fine But It Was Not That Crystal Clear As You Would Expect, There Will Be Quite Muffled Voice Output To The Other User, I Tested This In A Quite Room.

And You Don't Need Tv Remote For The Camera To Pickup Your Voice. Even If You Want To You Cannot Use It.

If You Turn On Your Fan Or U Live In Any Noisy Area The Noise Will Be Carried To Other Person. As Much The Same.

THUMBS UP FOR NOICE CANCELLATION 😂😂 👍

PS:- I was Sitting At 4 Ft Distance To The Tv While I Am Testing.

Google Duo Support Was Quite Good It Works Seamlessly In A 720p Fashion

One Issue I Found Is That I Tested It For Around 45 Min. It Was Quite Hot When I Tried To Close The Camera Cover.
I Don't If It Was Normal Or Not . But I Am Sitting In A A.c Room With 25°c.
If Anyone Has Any Questions Related To The Camera Or Its Functions Can Ping It Here In The Comments.

@Venky61 Your Help Might Be Needed Here Cause You're The Expert In Tv Related Queries, Because I Didn't Use The Tv As Extensive As You..

Yes...I would be great if you can share about port, cable, connectors, etc. with pics and about the quality of video using OP camera.

Loved the thread and I am sure it would help new users who have bought the new camera.

A small suggestion though, you should try using sentence case more often. Had a hard time trying to find where you stopped a sentence.

    Video , I would rate between 7- 8 /10.
    Audio , I would give it like 6 - 7/10.

It was picking up the Audio fine but clarity was missing, it was sounding muffled to the other user.

Infact I tested this in a quite environment with no fans just to make sure the audio should sound good.

If you live in a noisy environment or you like to use fans and all... You should definitely try to speak loudly or else it will sound all windy to the other person.

The OnePlus TV Camera can only be used with the U and Q TV series, since Duo is only supported on these models at present. The budget OnePlus TV Y-series isn't compatible as of now.

I'm unable to use my Bluetooth headphones for Google duo calls, I'm heading the call from TV speaker. Is there anyways to use Bluetooth headset for Google duo video call? (I have a OnePlus TV U series btw)

Yes, bluetooth calls through Google duo are not working.

I'm not sure is it a Google duo problem or OnePlus 's.
