    I don't think there is any key combo for back. In some apps, "Esc" does behave like back but the interface I don't see any.

    Have recently bought a 43 y series tv and see a dark patch on top of tv. I feel this is faulty hardware.

    Please see the pictures if this looks normal or if this is indeed an hardware issue.

    Unable to use Dolby Audio on Sony S20R
    Satellite speakers work only through PCM output, don't work through Dolby Digital/Plus
    Sound system is connected through HDMI cable, port 1.
    Dolby digital works only through optical cable, is that how it's supposed to work or am I missing anything?

    Looks like an issue with the panel. Raise a service request via OnePlus care app.

    While using in Dolby Digital, you need to keep the corresponding mode on the sound system for the satellite speakers to work. I think on your sound system, it would be Movie Mode. Try changing the modes on the sound system and check.

    Didn't work, I've tried tinkering with the settings but to no avail. It only worked through the optical cable

    I have not used Y series personally, so can't say about the configuration for sure but only guess. The optical option must be configured as PCM mode only on the Y series, thus you are getting sound from satellite speakers. For getting sound from satellite speakers with DD+ HDMI ARC, play 5.1 content from Prime Video/Netflix etc. Even Q and U series have this issue, if you play stereo content with Dolby mode, your rear speakers wont give any sound.

    Thanks for the info. I used a keyboard remapping app to configure one of the unused key on my keyboard to do the 'back' button option.

    it's very difficult to browse or search anything on Netflix YouTube Amazon prime and other sites on oneplus TV, as manual typing by remote is very very difficult , it's like decade old technology.
    Why can't we type through our mobile connect app

    The apps you mentioned have kept a restriction of only using on screen keyboard for privacy issues. Type sync from OnePlus connect works only for apps that allow native keyboards like how Playstore and Oxygen aplay supports. You may contact the individual apps and request them to include so.

    Hey , Is anyone facing crackling sound whilst using bluetooth headphones (I've tried multiple) in U-series??
    Also the Bluetooth controllers break connection randomly and have to try a dozen times to pair them if I pair them to some other device and then try to pair them back to the TV.
    I thought the Bluetooth chip has gone faulty so I asked for service, the guy came and changed the chip, that didn't help with sound issue, then he changed the main circuit board as well, that didn't help the issue either, he called his supervisor and he told me its a software bug that they'll fix in next rollout. In which case multiple of you would be facing that issue......or m I alone? :/

    A simple search on the OnePlus TV Section of the forum would have given you the answer for this question and you could have avoided the inconvenience of the technician visits and followup.
    In short... Yes, everyone's facing it.

    I did search on it and did find a couple of Q series posts on the issue but nothing on U series so I wasn't sure, (or maybe I missed the U series ones) so thought I'll try n get the hardware checked, but I guess its the same issue for both generations......anyways .....thx for the info....hope it gets fixed soon.

    Q and U series software is exactly the same. No differences at all. As the users who actually bought the U series are less, the posts related to U are less.

    Remove the Connect App from Battery Optimization of the phone and it should work when the Connect App is connected to your TV.
