Nah, your problem isn't similar to ours. My phone came out of the package with this issue. I still had to update the phone. I remember because I was hoping that might just fix it. But it didn't... Also, when I toggle pointer location on (under developer options) I can see the line doesn't come behind but when I draw curves, the lines are angular and irregular. This is because it stops registering touch at some point, and starts in another. you can try this out if you want. It's hard to describe.

Have you tried reinstalling the entire ROM? No I'd say Stock OxygenOS 2.1.1+Boeffla is the best possible combination. Maybe in the future there will be a Boeffla release for CM/AOSP.

2 more days and they will try to fix mine. But I already know this:

So I'm not going to flash kernels/roms/recoveries because I KNOW I'll have to send it back :/

    Hi,

I received my OnePlus Two yesterday and after the Oxygen update, I also encountered this severe touchscreen issue. It's very disappointed for a new phone and reflects the non-professionalism of the developers to deliver an unstable version.
However, I manage to "solve" temporary this problem by switching off all gestures in settings. Hope this will help users...

Indeed. I thought when I tried first but you're right, it doesn't help at all. It's fun to have a brand new phone you can't use :) I hope that developers will use the force soon to solve this bug!

    Howdy!
I had the same touchscreen issues. Switched to AK kernel and all my problems are gone.
I suggest you try it and see if it works for you also. The overall experience improved greatly on my 1+2 :)

Will installing kernel void warranty? Currently in the process of RMA, hopefully is not hardware/rounding issue

I am running Oxygen 2.0.2. and so far, it does not have touch screen issue.
    However,
the finger print does not work,
home button does not work ( to go back home you can enable under setting for double tap on back button)
    Camera is slow and sluggish
    Clear app button is missing.

Other than that, the 2.0.2 has no touch screen issue, it smooth.

That's exactly my observation. I had no issues with touchscreen before the 2.1 update. I really hope they'll fix it eventually.

WHy are you still on 2.0.2? The 2.1.1 has fixed some of the issues that they had, at least the ones in regards to the camera.

And NO, installing a different kernel does not void the OnePlus 2 warranty.

I would suggest you upgrade your phone to 2.1 , install the kernel and then the OTA to 2.1.1 :)

For an update to the people following this thread with similar issues. Just finished a remote session with oneplus, they downgraded the phone to 2.0.2 which cause my home button to not work. Then they had me upgrade to 2.1.1 again to fix the home button and it seems to be working ok for a couple of hours use, will continue to watch the touch screen closely to see if the problem arises again.

Thanks for the info for warranty.

Oxygen 2.1 or 2.1.1 fixes those issues, the finger scanner and sluggish camera. However, my touch screen getting slower response, that's why i downgrade to 2.0.2

For those who still suffers touchscreen issue, here is the fix (at least for me)
    Unlock bootloader,
    Install Root
    install TWRP
Right now I am running Resurrection Remix Lolipop 5.1.1 r24. So far, much better than the stock Oxygen.
    Fixes the touch screen issue,
    more customization,
    home button works,
    however, the fingerprint does not,
    laser auto focus works.
