So I used my physical invite and ordered my op2 on Sunday night, I now have it less than 48 hours later. Wow. Perhaps I'm overreacting but my op1 took well over a week to arrive.
Unboxing, I felt like I would make a little montage to unbox the phone (boredom & creativity)

My early impressions of the phone are that it is far superior in build quality to the oneplus one, and it makes my g4 feel like a cereal box toy, the metal feels incredible and the phone has weight to it, but not too much to feel like a brick.
The audio fx are great, another step up from my g4 and even my s6 edge. Always loved maxxaudio on the oppo phones.
The phone heated up early on, when I was mashing through the play store installing app after app. But since then it hasn't even got so much as lukewarm, even after 20+ mind of use. So that's really been something to write home about, this is the 810 after all.
The usb type c plug glides into the phone, there's no force needed, but it doesn't fall out either. The screen looks great too, crisp and bright, no yellowing this time
One thing that oneplus really delivered on is the fingerprint scanner, I've been playing with the phone for about 4 hours now, and it hasn't missed one attempt to unlock it.
I'll probably write a longer review soon, but for now this is my impressions, for a phone I wasn't really 'hyped' about, the OP2 has really surprised my so far.
