I am facing the same issue, I have the Wireless Z so do not use the USB C type often, but I tried today and it's not working. If I flip the connector there is continue sound like a pulse but no actual content sound in earbuds. I tried with another phone(Samsung A50s ) and earphones are working correctly.

    So defiantly Software issue.

Same issue... Using OnePlus 7t and OnePlus adapter to connect by earphones....it was working fine before.....then few months back encountered this problem, tried few ways which I don't remember now... again the same problem for past 5days..I can connect to my bluetooth but not the wired headset via adapter .. I couldn't even see the headphones symbol when connected....

I also now have this same issue (on 7t), and have tried the above with no success. It happened immediately after the update to 10.0.15. so i assumed it was related to that. I contacted oneplus and was told to 'Reset my app preferences' and 'reset the network'. All that did was make me have to re-enter my wifi passwords, pair all my bluetooth devices and turn off all the annoying notifications that every app thinks you need to know.

I went back to them straight away saying that had not worked but radio silence ensued . I had this on a OP3 years ago through a headphone socket, cant believe they still suffer with the same issue.

So next phone .....Dual SIM Samsung?

    Hi everyone.

I've the same issue with my earphones...We can listen music and all...But for phone calls Mic doesn't support...
    OTG doesn't change anyting.
First I thaught it was a mecanical issue on the connector but the charge works well.
I plugged the earphhones on a desktop and they work well too.
even I've checked with other companies mobiles and earphones work well mic supports..
So now, I'm more guessing a software issue or device issue ?

    My Configuration :
    Phone: OnePlus 7T
