AOD is a must have feature. As long as the watch can last one full day with AOD, it is worth it. For users who don't need the feature can always turn it off so I do not see any downsides of implementing AOD.

I cannot express my excitement enough about this OnePlus wearable. I primarily enjoy smartwatches almost more than I do as smartphones for they are always nearby. Looking forward to getting this watch on my wrist next month!

After testing more than 50 smartwatches and fitness trackers, yeah, AOD is a tad overhyped. Garmin does a wonderful job with their electronic ink and yes, the majority of the Garmin smartwatches have AOD by default as they have for over five years. The way the new Apple Watch 6 handles AOD is horrible.

Can the Oneplus Watch be updated to wear OS system at a later point of time with OTA's ?
(IDK ihe processor supports it, but just to check if it can happen)

Nice FAQ and for the AOD, I prefer it NOT to have that, especially when trying to sleep. You'd be surprised how bright a screen can seem when trying to sleep and a slight movement causes a bright light suddenly because your watch face thinks you're trying to look at it

My current tracker I've actually turned off even the wrist detection that activates the display because of this. Now if it has a setting for when it should activate, that would be great ;). Then I have the option to have it show the watch face during the time I'm awake and not at night when I just want it to track my sleeping instead of flashing on and off if I move my arm

I too would like to weigh on this. I do really like AOD for watches. Very important feature that should be implemented in my opinion.

Does RTOS work with apps from the Google Play Store? I'm thinking not. I really want to like this, but it is missing some features that would make this worthwhile. Weather, ECG, key notifications I track from my phone, etc.

I would have loved it if you had introduced this with ECG and RTOS, and then I might not have cared that it didn't play with Google Play. Honestly, I'm kind of bummed.
