    Hey everyone,

We launched the OnePlus Watch just a few weeks ago and we’d like to thank you for all the valuable feedback and suggestions we received since then. Now, we’re beginning to roll out the first software update to improve the watch experience.

This first update will come to devices in the US and Canada, and extend to other countries in the coming days. If you have feedback about this OTA update or suggestions you’d like to share about the product, please feel free to do so in the comments below. We’ll be here going through your feedback!

    Change log:
    • Improved GPS performance
    • Improved accuracy of activity tracking (walking and running)
    • Optimized heart rate monitoring algorithm
    • Enabled notification app icons for the most frequently used apps
    • Improved raise-to-wake function
    • Optimized notification syncing algorithm
    • Fixed some known bugs
    • Improved system stability
We also want to keep you updated on what we’re working on. Future OTAs will include, but not are limited to, the following changes:
    • Add Always-on Display feature
    • Add remote camera control of Android smartphones (Android phones running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and above) from OnePlus Watch
    • Add 12-hour time format
    • Add 4 languages: German, Italian, Spanish, and Polish
    • Enable all 110+ workout modes
    • Enable AI watch face
    • Improve sleep tracking accuracy
We look forward to hearing your continued feedback in the comments below. In addition to OTA updates mentioned above, we will continue to work on software optimization to further improve the OnePlus Watch. Again, your suggestions and bug reports matter so much to us. If you have any comments on the OnePlus Watch or the OnePlus Health App user experience, please leave a comment in this thread.

    Yours sincerely,
    Raymond

Looks like the watch was really unpolished. 12 hour time format through an update after launch?. OnePlus used to be far more thorough than this.

Excellent news about the GPS/tracking improvements! I'll give that a try over lunch today, maybe.

What is the "AI watch face"? Currently I switch between two - one that has complications, one that has a second hand - but I'd really love a digital watch face that has both; I don't believe any of the current ones do.

How about working SpO2 on a device you brought to market, and advertised as having SpO2? Returning if I do not see this feature before my return period is up.

Oh yeah? You sure? This is on a custom APK their dev team sent me for testing and it's still not monitoring or tracking it.

Yes, why release a product that doesn't do what it is advertised to do? How do you release a product with a bug this bad? Pathetic!
Nobody, absolutely nobody should buy this broken product. I am sick and tired of Oneplus releasing half baked garbage.
