    Baihan He , Jul 14, 2021 :
    Hey everyone,

    We're now rolling out the B.62 update for the OnePlus Watch. This update will be incremental. The OTA update will reach a small percentage of users first, and then we'll begin a broader rollout in the next few days.

    • Design
      • Optimize the design details of some dials, make them look better, and add some information such as date;
      • Optimize the layout of some interface buttons, making them more intuitive and convenient to use;
      • The newly designed volume control function makes adjustment easier and convenient;
      • Optimize the remote control camera interface;
    • Workout
      • Improved the accuracy and speed of GPS positioning
    Use tip:
    • Long press on the watch face to enter the watch face editing mode.

    Please make sure that the power of the watch is more than 40% before upgrading;
    Please keep your watch and mobile phone close and keep the Bluetooth connection during the upgrade process.

    We look forward to hearing your continued feedback in the comments below. In addition to OTA updates mentioned above, we will continue to work on software optimization to further improve the OnePlus Watch. Again, your suggestions and bug reports matter so much to us. If you have any comments on the OnePlus Watch or the OnePlus Health App user experience, please leave a comment in this thread.

    GPS is still not working correctly after the update. It takes several minutes (up to half an hour!) to connect. Sometimes connection isn´t possible. In fact, nothing has changed.

    And when I receive a notification, the red notification-dot at the bottom of the watchface isn´t appearing in every case. Sometimes it´s there, sometimes it´s not.

    I would like to be able to add responses to messages and phone calls. The default ones are not good enough.

    Deep sleep percentage before the first half of sleep duration is not that important as compared to over all deep sleep. Calling it abnormal is not correct .

    I like the changes to the GPS icon - faster animation while waiting for a location fix and the green color when it does get a fix. However, as others have mentioned, the watch is still complaining about out-of-date ephemeris information and taking a very long time to get a fix. I've seen a couple of people post about reduced waiting time, but most people seem not to have seen any improvement.

    There are also still two bugs in the telephone app. First, the "mute" button is inactive (grayed out) during a call. Second, the presence of parentheses in a contact phone number causes the call to fail. I.e., if the number is (123) 456-7890, the call fails; if it is 123-456-7890, the call succeeds.

    Regarding the GPS problem I see no improvement, still takes several minutes to get a signal or getting no at all. One user reported that he is getting a signal quickly when moving fast (whatever that means) - very interesting. Hope that will be fixed soon.

    Yes, still definitely broken. I just tested it and got a location fix after about seven minutes using the "outside walk" activity. I canceled that, then about a minute later, tried again - and it still didn't get an immediate fix, indicating that it doesn't even save the ephemeris data it just received from the satellites. I don't know what the change to the GPS was that was mentioned in the change log, but it obviously didn't address the major issue.

    Wasn't the last update like 3 months ago? After this time this is all that could be improved. It's like there is just one guy working on watch software and he's doing it part-time or something

    Actually, the previous update was at the end of May - the "May update" that was promised when the watch was introduced - so about a month and a half ago, not three months. However, I can't dispute that the rate of fixing bugs and such leaves a lot to be desired.

    This update was clearly a smoke screen for users. Took almost 2 months for OnePlus to change the design of some features, which made no difference to the watch. At the same time the long list of problems, including the GPS, is still not fixed or even attempted to be fixed.
    I was expecting and still am, a lot more from OnePlus. These updates have been ridiculous and the problems are still not fixed. Apart from the design, the watch is a shambles

    It'd be lovely if your team worked on a Hey Tap app store on OnePlus Watch. It'd be helpful for those who like try Spotify , Gaana and other third party like fitness app. Atleast Spotify would be appreciated.🥺
    Or try to integrate Spotify to OnePlus Health App like Google Fit🥺🥺🥺
