    Hi,
    I m a doctor,
    Just got the HP edn watch a week back, can't use it as only one thing i used most mybolder watches from asus nd amazefit was to silence calls without reaching for my phone in my scrubs, this watch has no option to silence calls,
    I suggest we can add the option of customising the side lower button to silence calls, or else to cover watch face to silence.

    Second, in the always on display faces option we need a face which shows seconds ticking, as again ad a doctor, i need at least 30 seconds to count a pulse or breathing in my Pediatric patients..

    Do i hope to get an update on these, esp the first issue, else i will sale this watch.

    I hadn't realized that there are apparently places in India that aren't included in the initial updates. In any event, if you use Turbo VPN - not necessarily switching permanently, just for watch downloads, maybe - the Bengaluru server has always worked for me as soon as anyone posts here about a new update.

    Hi,
    Pressing this button rejects the call and silences, this is not at all desired. There's a lot of difference in missing a call or deliberately rejecting a call. So we really need a silence or ignore button, where ringer gets muted on phone and watch, but call is not rejected.

    I'm not being argumentative, I'm genuinely curious about why the "mute" option is desirable. As far as I can tell, the only differences between muting and rejecting a call are that with muting, the caller has to wait longer to get to leave voicemail and that you won't be able to receive another incoming call until the (silenced) ringing finishes. Both of those seem like negative outcomes. Under what circumstances would "mute" be preferable to rejecting the call?

    Rejecting a call means i deliberately canceled it, it sometimes looks rude also to the caller and then its expected to call back too, while muting simply means tht i was pre occupied and so cud not answer and practically in my case it's the case most of the times
    ... seeing a patient, counseling a patient, giving vaccine, rpunds in PPE kits, i cant reach my phone, but its constant ringing distracts, so simply silencing is yje solution, like u do in phone by pressing power button in most phones or fliping face down

    Okay, thanks for the response. If I call someone and it goes quickly to voicemail, I generally figure the phone was offline - didn't have signal, battery ran down, etc. - or that the person was on another call, not that they're being rude to me; if it rings for a long time, my guess is that they left their phone at home or in their car or something and didn't have it with them. Different customs and expectations in different places, though, I guess. Thanks again for the explanation.

    yes, we don't have a voicemail for pre paid numbers in India, thts an another issue and eben if u have it, again voice mail means ur obligatiin to answer every call and i miss around 30-40 calls a day, all from patients

    So the only wanted "feature" from this update was:

    "Music controller optimization: By default, when playing music, automatically enter the music control panel function. Users can manually turn on this function in the health app."

    And that thing is just a lie, there is still no possibility to turn on/off that feature. If music is playing, you will still get the music screen/player and not the time.
