I attempted to purchase an 8pro on the Canadian Oneplus website's Black Friday sale and the price in the shopping cart was almost double the advertised Black Friday price?!

I spent an hour in a webchat sending support people screen shots of the price advertised on the website and the price of the phone in my cart. In the end they said they would email a response back to me.

So far, have not heard back from Oneplus, but it is illegal to do these bait and switch tactics here in Canada and that would be against consumer protection laws...

Black Friday tmobile 7T for $1 deal isn't too great unless you are already on T-Mobile

... The differences between an unlocked OnePlus 7T and a T-Mobile branded variant are subtle but important. The T-Mobile version will be locked to that carrier unless you go through unlocking steps. It will come with T-Mobile apps pre-installed and will not receive software updates as quickly as unlocked models....

3 weeks and multiple emails to OnePlus later and I still hadn't had a response. Rang in and they claim that $699 on a Canadian site means USD. Now building a case for the Competition Bureau Canada; care to join in?
